Designed to have a easier reload by having the velcro higher and wider toward the top to give a better rigidity to the insert during inserting and removing the magazine.
556 quad inserts are designed to have proper retention on magpul and steel magazines, and Amend2a Magazines.
308 Inserts were specifically designed to retain magpul 308 magazines best. With a ease of reload and inserting but with plenty of retention where they would not fall out. Radios also fit perfectly(Baofeng, and XTS5000 and 2500 tested) into these inserts in case you want to run a few magazines and a radio. FAL and metal magazine inserts will be releasing soon to serve those magazines better.
